Support at Home — live independently, for longer
Government-funded in-home aged care that helps older Australians stay safe, connected and independent in the home they love — delivered in partnership with Trilogy Care.
A simpler way to get care at home
Support at Home is the Australian Government's in-home aged care program. Introduced in November 2025, it replaced the Home Care Packages and Short-Term Restorative Care programs with one streamlined system, giving older people more choice, clearer budgets and stronger support to remain living at home.
Once you're approved and funded, you choose a provider and agree on the mix of services that suit your needs. We work alongside Trilogy Care to deliver warm, reliable support — and you can adjust your services as your needs change.
Three types of in-home support
Clinical care
Health-focused support to keep you well at home — fully funded by the government.
Independence supports
Everyday help that keeps you active, confident and socially connected.
Everyday living
Practical help around the home so it stays comfortable and safe.
Extra support when things change
Restorative care
Short-term, goal-focused allied health support to help you rebuild strength, mobility and confidence after illness or injury — typically up to 12 weeks.
End-of-life care
Dedicated, compassionate support that allows people in their final months to remain at home, surrounded by comfort, dignity and the people they love.
